The 5th International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering (ICCEE) aims to bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to discuss and share the latest advancements and innovations in civil and environmental engineering. Hosted annually by Universitas Hasanuddin and co-hosted this year by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, the conference provides a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and best practices in various engineering fields.

The theme of this year's conference is "Developing Cutting-Edge Technologies to Create Adaptive Infrastructure Towards Climate Change." The aim is to address the challenges posed by climate change and to develop innovative solutions for building resilient and adaptive infrastructure. By focusing on cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices, the conference seeks to promote the creation of infrastructure that can withstand the impacts of climate change while contributing to environmental sustainability and urban resilience.

The conference provides an excellent opportunity for participants to engage in discussions, network with peers, and collaborate on projects that address the pressing issues in civil and environmental engineering. It also serves as a forum for presenting new research, discussing policy implications, and exploring future directions in the field.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission

General guidelines:

The abstract must be within the range of 150 – 200 words. The paper must fit into at least one of the conference’s topics. Pick at least 3 keywords relevant to the abstract. The corresponding author must include all other contributing authors, if the number of authors changes after the abstract submission the committee must be informed along with the reasoning. The authors’ current affiliation and email must be supplied in the abstract submission form.

Full Paper Submission

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

  • Research Paper
  • Case Study
  • Systematic Literature Review

For the participants who do not wish to publish their paper, you are welcome to participate as a presenter and you are only required to submit an abstract.

The submission details for full papers will be provided once the agreement with the publisher is finalized. Please stay tuned for further information.
