Join us to celebrate the 10th Biennial Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy (ATLC25). ATLC25 will provide a forum for researchers and policy practitioners to share and discuss innovative research that seeks to understand and address multi-dimensional global challenges.
Hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology, ATLC25 will be held May 14-16, 2025, at the Global Learning Center, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Topics are inclusive of all:
- Geographies (e.g., emerging contexts, local innovation, global issues)
- Technologies (e.g., AI, energy innovations and transitions, responsible innovation)
- Modes of production (e.g., team science, co-production, collaboration)
- Forms of governance (e.g., regulation, policy, scientific organization)
- Sectors of innovation (e.g., technology commercialization, academic entrepreneurship)
- Career paths (e.g., diversity and inclusion, workforce development)
- Evaluation design (e.g., developmental, impact assessment, interventions, policy review)
- Societal considerations (e.g., sustainability, inclusivity, peace, competitiveness)
Submission Guidelines
The conference organizing committee invites detailed abstracts and proposals for the following three submission types:
- Research presentations. Two-page abstracts that describe well-developed research questions, methodologies, and findings.
- Poster presentations. Two-page abstracts for posters that reflect empirical research findings from undergraduate, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows within three years of receipt of a doctoral degree. Posters will be eligible for a conference award and judged during the session.
- Thematic sessions. Three to four-page abstracts for well-developed 90-minute sessions focused on a prescient conference theme and potentially reflective of our international scope.
Each abstract MUST include the following information:
- Your submission type: indicate your submission type from the list above
- Your current Role: indicate whether you are a (1) Graduate/doctoral student, (2) postdoc, (3) faculty researcher, or (4) other (please specify)
- Two topics: choose at least two topics/keywords from the list above
- Agreement to review: indicate your agreement to review other ATLC submissions if asked (you may or may not be asked). Thank you in advance!
