The international conference Built Environment and Beyond marks the fourth edition in the Built Environment and Beyond series, and serves as the official dissemination conference for the ongoing CAPABLE project—Capacity Building in Built Environment Sustainability Research. This two-year collaborative initiative is funded by the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) and the Scheme for Promoting Academic and Research Collaborations (SPARC). It brings together IIT Bombay, Liverpool John Moores University (UK), Dr. B. N. College of Architecture (Pune), and the Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF) as academic and industry partners.
This year, the conference BeBeyond places a special focus on Circular Economy as a key driver for sustainable transformation across all scales of the built environment.
