About ICETST 2024

Recent advancements in Information Technology (IT) have created opportunities of growth for several domains such as health, education, business, economics, supply chain, surveillance, security, transport, and civil infrastructure. There are emerging trends and requirements for adapting and integrating IT related solutions for enhanced efficacy and control. Smart Technologies can be developed using ICT solutions to cater the emerging challenges of enhancing and strengthening infrastructure for these domains. International Conference on Emerging Trends in Smart Technologies (ICETST) is motivated in providing a platform for academicians, researchers, industrialists, and practitioners to publish their research in these emerging domains. The main focus of the conference is on applied research in which IT can be used as an enabler. The conference is seeking submissions in all related areas and domains where modern technologies can be developed by integrating ICT solutions.

Accepted papers that comply with IEEE requirements/regulations will be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Following are the key objectives of ICETST:

• Introduce a platform for collaboration on emerging topics and key issues in the field of Technology, Management and Urban Challenges.

• ICETST enables academicians and practitioners to come together and develop solutions.

• Promotion of research collaborations in crucial IT areas, facilitates interactions for joint proposal writing and formulating funding strategies, and assists in identifying potential sources of funding from public and private sectors.

• Identifying key areas of participation in Technology Transfer and the need of local technology landscape.

Technical Papers

ICETST 2024 draws researchers, application developers, and practitioners from a wide range of IT areas to promote high-quality research findings, and innovative solutions towards challenging local industry problems.

ICETST 2024 provides a platform for a broader audience to gain valuable knowledge and perspectives from multiple experts in a dynamic and interactive format. The panelists’ diverse expertise enriches the discussion and offers a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.

PhD Symposium / Poster Presentation

ICETST 2024 provides an international forum and an open-invitation event for Ph.D. students and their supervisors for the presentation of original research results, as well as the exchange and dissemination of innovative and practical development experiences.

Panel Discussion

The ICETST 2024 will set aside space for those who wish to pursue a discussion of a particular topic or issue. The key purpose of the discussion is for the panelist to share their wisdom and provide insights to create real value and takeaways for the audience.

Workshop / Tutorial

ICETST 2024 includes workshops and tutorials that complement the conference, intending to expand new directions of industry research.

How to submit your paper?

All paper must be original and not simultaneously submitted to, or be considered for publication in any other journal or conference. Research papers must belong to the various topics of interest relevant to the conference sessions.

All papers should be in English, and follow the two-column format of the IEEE Conference style guidelines. Templates can be downloaded using the link below. Page length must not be more than 6-pages.

Authors are encouraged to use the LaTeX template (see link below) for typesetting their manuscript. Documents created in a word may result in unnecessary processing delay when submitting camera-ready copies. Papers that do not comply with style guidelines will not be published in IEEE Xplore.

Figures and plots must be of good quality. Text appearing in figures must be of the same size as the normal document text. Make sure that figures and plots appear fine and distinguishable when printed in black and white, as well as when viewed on-screen. Plots made in excel or figures/plots taken as screen-shots should be avoided unless taken in high resolution.
