The 8th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy (ICMERE 2025) will be held partially online and in person (Hybrid Mode) on December 10-12, 2025 at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Chattogram, Bangladesh. CUET is one of the leading public engineering universities in Bangladesh situated alongside Kaptai Road, 25 km far away from Chattogram City. CUET sets its guiding principle to foster the best professional competence by coupling pedagogy and research in relevance to real-world problems. The ICMERE conference aims to provide an international forum for the dissemination of the latest research and knowledge in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy for scientists, researchers, engineers, educators, and participants from industries around the world in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy. Authors are welcome to submit their original research contributions addressing the conference theme. Selected papers will be submitted for inclusion in conference proceedings/book series indexed by Scopus and in the Mechanical Engineering Research Journal (MERJ, ISSN: 1990-5491).

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be submitted using the online conference management system EasyChair. The paper submission process through the EasyChair is available in the following link https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=icmere2025.   • All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
  • Paper Template: All papers must be submitted according to the prescribed template available on the conference website: https://icmerecuet.org/?page_id=46. 
  • Page limit: All manuscripts should be less than 6 pages including results, tables, figures, and references.
  • Plagiarism policy: The submitted paper will go through a plagiarism check and the similarity index would be less than 20%.

Selected papers will be submitted for inclusion in conference proceedings/book series indexed by Scopus and in the Mechanical Engineering Research Journal (MERJ, ISSN: 1990-5491). Proceedings of the conference will be published in the form of the book of abstracts. Full paper will be available on the conference website.
