IEEE PowerCon 2024: IEEE International Conference on Power System Technology 2024 The Soaltee Kathmandu, Nepal, November 4-6, 2024

PowerCon is an IEEE Power Engineering conference organized in the Asia Pacific Region. This was jointly initiated by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and IEEE Power and Energy Society in 1998. The conference is a premier platform that brings together electrical engineers, researchers, academicians, and practitioners from all over the world to disseminate their knowledge and findings for advancing the electrical power and energy sector.

PowerCon 2024 is the 16th in its series and is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Power and Energy Society, IEEE Power and Energy Society Nepal Chapter, and the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. The conference will take place in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, on November 4-6, 2024. The conference features plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, tutorial sessions, and technical exhibitions. Papers are invited on all domains related to the advancement of electric power system technology and are not limited to the below-mentioned conference tracks.

Submission Guidelines

• Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 4 to a maximum of 5 pages (A4 size), in PDF files to the conference electronically. 
• Each paper must be original and unpublished, not submitted for other publication elsewhere.
• All papers submitted must strictly follow the IEEE Conference format. Refer to the  IEEE conference paper template:  IEEE Conference Paper Template

• The authors must not indicate their names, affiliations, and acknowledgments in the body of the submitted paper. The authors are to provide their personal information during the online submission.
• A peer review process will be used to evaluate all papers submitted for consideration.
• The paper accepted for the conference must be presented by the author/co-author.
• The authors/co-authors registered for the conference, irrespective of the level/class of the registration, are entitled to present two papers at the conference and have them included in the IEEE Xplore.
• For any further paper, i.e., third, fourth, etc., presented at the conference by the registered author/co-author a mandatory fee of USD150 per additional paper must be paid.
