About
Welcome to Bioclues.org's flagship Indian conference on Bioinformatics ( #Inbix2024) wherein this year is jointly to be organised with ADNAT. This year's edition is to be held in Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi during November 28-30, 2024 with preconference workshop on November 27.
Bioclues
BIOinformatics CLUb for Experimenting Scientists (BIOCLUES), India's largest Bioinformatics society enters 20th year in service this October 2024 even as the organization has set up vision 2030. The society has organized her debut onsite Inbix'17 conference in Jaipur during November 2017 and Inbix'19 in HMV, Jalandhar, Inbix'20 in North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya, and Inbix'21 in CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam as a virtual organization which were a huge success. Keeping in view of the conference series, Inbix'22 conference was held at VFSTR, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, on 31 October to 2 November 2022, #Inbix2023 in VIT, Vellore. The organizers hope this opportunity will not only foster interactions and collaborations among practitioners but will also allow young researchers interact with the world leaders, who are among the top researchers in bioinformatics and computational biology. While we spur on this annual event, the organizers welcome all bioinformaticists across the world to take part in this august conference to be held at BHU.
ADNAT
ADNAT is a society of professionals interested in promotion of various DNA technologies and their applications in health care, agriculture, biology, law and social welfare with emphasis on ethical, social, and legal implications of these technologies. It's focal objectives are (a) To disseminate information about new developments in the field of DNA technology (such as methods of DNA analysis) and their applications, legal impact, etc. (b) To promote the use of DNA technology (such as DNA fingerprinting, and DNA diagnostics) in various areas relating to social welfare, including crime and civil matters, plant and animal stock improvement, certification of cell lines, detection, prevention and treatment of diseases, etc. (c) To provide a platform to formulate guidelines on standards, quality assurance, proficiency testing, and accreditation of laboratories and methods related to DNA technology..
Benaras Hindu University
Banaras Hindu University also referred as Kashi Hindu Vidhwavidyala is a collegiate, central, and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, and founded in 1916. The university incorporated the Central Hindu College, founded by Indian Home Rule-leaguer and Theosophist, Annie Besant in 1898. After Besant and her associates were marginalised,[8] the university was established by Madan Mohan Malaviya with the support of the maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh, the maharaja of Benares Prabhu Narayan Singh, and the lawyer Sunder Lal. With over 30,000 students, and 18,000 residing on campus, BHU is the largest residential university in Asia. The Deparrment of Zoology is one of the oldest departments in India and serves as the host for this conference duo.
