摘要徵求
本屆研討會以「語言社群之個體性、都市化與多模態實踐」為主題,聚焦於探索台灣語言社群在個體發展、都市化影響及多模態溝通實踐下的變遷與演進。透過一系列如:語言師資培育與教學、口語與讀寫習得、語音與音韻結構、構詞與句法、語言流失、保存與復振、語言接觸、混合與演化、語言與民間文化、語言生態與永續、語言政策與規劃、語言與數位科技等議題面向之探討,期待建立可持續發展之多語共存對話與實踐平台,同時,進一步推動台灣及國際語言學術研究之在地創新。

Ontogeny, Urbanization and Multimodality in Language Communities
Call for Abstracts
With the theme "Ontogeny, Urbanization and Multimodality in Language Community", this symposium focuses on the exploration of changes and evolution within Taiwan's language community influenced by individual development, urbanization, and multimodal communication practice. A series of various topics such as language teacher education and pedagogy, oral and literary acquisition, phonetics and phonology of Taiwanese languages, morphology and syntax of Taiwanese languages, Taiwanese language loss, maintenance and revitalization, language contact, mixing, and evolution, Taiwanese languages and folk culture, linguistic ecology and sustainability, language policy and planning, language and digital technology, will be invited to discussions. We look forward to establishing a platform for sustainable multilingual coexistence and practice while further promoting local innovation in Taiwanese and international language academic research.

Submission Guidelines:
- Languages: Languages of Taiwan or English
- Submission: Via EasyChair system starting January 5, 2024 (GMT+8)
- Submission Categories & Format:
- Individual Session: The content should specifically describe the research purpose, significance, method, and research findings. The word limit should range from 300 to 500 words and include 3 to 5 keywords.
- Panel Session: It is encouraged to form your panel teams (including a moderator if desired), and submit a panel proposal via the submission system. Each proposal submission should consist of 3 to 4 papers on related topics. The format is flexible, but the content must include: the panel title, names of members, background and significance of the research, an explanation of the relevance of each abstract, research methods, findings, and implications. Each proposal should include a title and abstract with 3 to 5 keywords; the word count should be within 2000 words.
- Workshop Session: The symposium warmly invites submissions for workshops that primarily focus on introducing language revitalization or practical language research. The most crucial criterion for workshop acceptance is the design's capacity to foster active attendee participation. Please submit the workshop abstract through the system with a word count between 300 and 500. The content should distinctly outline the purpose, target audience, operational methods, and anticipated benefits or outcomes for the participants.
- Authorship Limit: Irrespective of the submission type (individual, panel, or workshop session), each contributor is limited to submitting a maximum of one paper as the first author and may be listed as a co-author on one additional paper.
