Call for Papers
We invite research contributions to STAG 2024 in the form of full papers or posters.
Full Papers
STAG provides a forum for discussing novel ideas and results in Computer Graphics, Geometric Modeling and Visual Computing. We welcome papers addressing both theoretical and application-oriented aspects of research, as well as papers describing open libraries and tools. STAG also encourages interdisciplinary studies approaching different fields, including Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction. Additional details about the full papers submission can be found here. Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of the EG Italian Chapter Conference STAG, published in the Eurographics Digital Library. The authors of the selected top-quality papers presented at the conference will receive invitations to submit extended versions of their work to a Special Issue in prestigious academic journals.
We invite submissions related to, but not limited to, the following topics:
- 2D/3D Computer Vision
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine and Deep Learning for Visual Computing
- Acquisition and Reconstruction
- Animation
- eXtended Reality
- Computational Fabrication and Digital Manufacturing
- Computational Geometry
- Computer Graphics applications in industry, biomedicine, cultural heritage, entertainment, physics, design, robotics, digital twin, smart cities, etc.
- Geometry processing
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Imaging and image processing
- Pattern Recognition
- Rendering
- Shape modeling, synthesis and analysis
- Topological Data Analysis for Visual Computing
- Visualization and Perception
- Volumetric modeling
- 3D Web graphics
Posters
Authors are invited to submit proposals for poster presentations at STAG 2023. We welcome posters that present recent results, work in progress, new ideas, small-scale projects, and experiments that may be of interest to the community, but which are still too speculative, incomplete, or whose scope is not wide enough to warrant a full paper. Posters provide a good opportunity for displaying and discussing ideas. We encourage submissions in all areas of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Visual Computing, eXtended Reality, and related disciplines.
Posters will be displayed during the conference. Authors of accepted posters are expected to attend to their posters during the poster session. Accepted posters (2-page papers), will be included in the conference proceedings. Additional details about the posters submission can be found here.
