YQIS 2024: 7th International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists
About YQIS
The 7th International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) is organized and hosted by INRIA from 6th-8th of November in Paris. The aim of YQIS is to give early-stage researchers a venue to present their research and to promote scientific exchange among young scientists from all areas of quantum information. The event consists of three days (6th-8th of November) of YQIS conference, including invited and submitted contributions in form of talks and poster sessions. The conference venue will also feature the satellite event We Are Quantum (WAQ) on November 4-5, 2024, which includes a series of tutorials as well as networking opportunities with the French quantum information academic community. The YQIS conference addresses from a theoretical and experimental perspective the research areas of (in alphabetical order):
-
Condensed matter and many-body physics
-
Optimization and machine learning in quantum information
-
Quantum characterization and sensing
-
Quantum communication and cryptography
-
Quantum computing and algorithms
-
Quantum correlations and networks
-
Quantum foundations
-
Quantum thermodynamics and open systems

Submission Guidelines
Please note that YQIS 2024 does not have published proceedings, so you are welcome to submit work that has been previously published, and acceptance at YQIS 2024 will not impact the ability to publish your work in other venues. Note that all above submission deadlines are in the Anywhere on Earth (AoE) timezone.
-
Talk submission: Talk submissions consist of a full manuscript submitted in PDF format or an arXiv link to your manuscript. In addition, please submit a short abstract of at most 1 page with font size minimum 11pt, in which you explain the impact of your work and argue why it should be considered as a talk. In the case you submit via uploading a manuscript in PDF format, please have the abstract in the same file. If you want to submit via an arXiv link, please add the link in the plain text field for the abstract and upload the abstract as a PDF file. Talk submissions automatically apply for poster presentations as well.
-
Poster submission: Poster submissions consist of a maximum 400-word abstract (via the corresponding form) with a brief description of the work and its impact, submitted in plain text format.
