The Energy Informatics Academy Conference 2026 (EI.A 2026) invites researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals from around the world to submit original research contributions, innovative developments, and transofrmative projects in the multidisciplinary field of Energy Informatics. Please seize this opportunity to share your work, engage in stimulating discussions with peers and industry experts, and contribute to the advancement of energy informatics!
EI.A, 2026 provides an international forum for presenting and discussing cutting-edge research at the intersecition of energy systems and informatics, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and advancing sustainable, intelligent energy systems.
This year, EI.A 2026, will be held at the Sino-Danish Center (SDC), Beijing, China, and is co-hosted with the Summer School in Energy Informatics 2026, taking place on 12-13 October 2026.
Conference Topics
EI.A 2026 welcomes submissions on a broad range of topics, including but nt limited to the following:

Submission Categories and Guideline
Authors are invited to submit one of the following types of contributions:
- Long papers: 12-15 pages (excluding references)
- Short papers: 6-11 pages (including references)
- Abstracts: Maximum 250 words (excluding references)
All long and short papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by a panel of at least three expert reviewers.
Note: Abstract papers will not be included in the Springer LNCS proceedings but will be made available on the conference website.
Publication Opportunities
Accepted and presented long and short papers* will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) proceedings volume.
All accepted authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their paper for fast-track consideration in the Springer Open Access Journal Energy Informatics.
Three Best Paper Awards will be presented (awarded equally).
- Each award includes a 100% publication fee waiver for publishing the extended version in Energy Informatics.
- Only long papers are eligible for the Best Paper Awards.
* Please note that the abstract papers will not be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) EI.A 2026 proceedings volume, but will be made available on the conference webpage.
