Bearing, as a Mechanical System, Fits into the Electromechanical Behavior of Electrical Machines

Abstract

The target area of the paper is the bearing, a mechanical system element that significantly determines the lifespan of electrical machines. The issue of its application depends significantly on the machine, it is influenced by the type of operation of the motor, its power, the degree of radial and axial load, their combinations, vibration factors and vibration limit values. The two large type areas, rolling and sliding bearings, form a different mechanically coupled system. From the point of view of mechanical running and lubrication, it presents a different challenge in the life cycle of the machine, the aim is to examine this mechanical requirement from the point of view of electrical signal analysis.
