Implementation of the SIMONTANA Monitoring System as Material for Governance Planning

Abstract

As one of the countries with the largest forests, the community and business actors need information about natural resources, as well as preventing the spread of deforestation. Simontana's innovation was built to provide reliable spatially based data and information on forest resources,real time, and reliable. The data are displayed transparently for better management of national forests, and improve the quality of the environment. Availability and information of Land cover data and its changes are used as planning material for forest land governance.
