Longitudinal Slotted Waveguide Antenna with Uniform Amplitude Distribution

Abstract

In this work, we synthesize a uniform distribution of amplitudes along the waveguide by synthesizing the internal parameters of the antenna, namely the wave propagation coefficient. The simulation results show that the uniform amplitude distribution made it possible to increase the antenna gain at frequencies close to the resonant frequency, thereby reducing the influence of electromagnetic wave resonance. For example, at frequencies = 9 GHz, 10 GHz, 11 GHz, the gain is 0.43 dB, 1.54 dB and 3.24 dB, respectively.
