It will be seen that most computers only offer approximate solutions to optimization problems without any guarantee of optimality. The exact approaches are subject to the so-called quantum error correction problem, which makes large-scaling difficult or even impossible. Finally, we will show that the quantum superposition phenomenon that is at the basis of the qubit is subject to very different interpretations in the scientific community.
