These characteristics satisfy both the end user of the textile and the producer in terms of efficiency in the production process and maximization of return on investment. Faced with this conjuncture of interests, the proper selection of materials is important, both to achieve the textile attributes that the user is looking for, and to make its production profitable for the manufacturer. This study seeks experimentally to determine the relationship between one of the main characteristics of yarns, such as torsion and warp performance measured in the amount of breaks during the weaving process. The increase in breakages represents an increase in the unproductive time of the machinery and therefore results in a lower efficiency of the invested resources, affecting the interests of the investors and the organization's stakeholders.
