Clinical Approach to a Boy with a Testicular Mass, Case Report

EasyChair Preprint 6850

8 pagesDate: October 17, 2021

Abstract

Introduction: testicular masses in children are a challenge in the search for a differential diagnosis in pediatric patients and this makes it difficult to find a poor anamnesis. Objective: to share the clinical experience and auxiliary means for the diagnosis and treatment of testicular tumors or masses in pediatric age. Method: case report of a nursing patient. Results: patients with a testicular mass suggest suspicion of a benign tumorous disease with a good prognosis with a timely clinical diagnosis based on a good anamnesis and its treatment in surgical resection. Conclusions: the testicular masses are infrequent, but they present in pediatric age with a satisfactory evolution in the patient, having multidisciplinary management as an important pillar.
