The synthesis of grounded practices to communication theory was inclusive of a literature review, and related studies combined with observations and interviews in the field were used to develop a career trajectory model. This model is presented with quantitative and qualitative measures to validate the theory provided. Results from field observations, interviews, and validation measures are discussed and summarized.
