Abstract

In this study, the main objectives will be to predict the Poisson's ratio of a unidirectional Glass/Epoxy composite material and study the effect of fiber arrangement on the Poisson's ratio ν_23.We used the micromechanical approach and a computer code Castem based on the FEM method. The results obtained from the modeling numerical data were compared with those obtained by the analytical models available.
