Download PDFOpen PDF in browserAdaptive Fuzzy Control for Fractional-Order Nonlinear System with Unknown Dead ZoneEasyChair Preprint 45276 pages•Date: November 7, 2020AbstractIn this paper, an adaptive fuzzy backstepping dynamic surface control scheme is proposed for a class of fractional-order strict feedback nonlinear systems with unknown dead zone and external disturbances. Fuzzy logic system is used to approximate unknown nonlinear functions. By using the dynamic surface control to avoid the inherent problem of ‘explosion of complexity’ in the backstepping technique, at the same time, constructing a smooth inverse function of the dead zone to compensate the dead zone effect. Then based on the Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that the adaptive fuzzy backstepping dynamic surface control approach can guarantee that all the signals of the closed-loop system are bounded, and the tracking error will converge to a small neighborhood of the origin.
