Abstract

This review of Cybersecurity and National Security includes a brief history of cyberspace and how it became a politicised reality. Several significant cyber attacks are identified including the Morris Worm and Stutnex, the first attempt at Cyberwarfare. An International approach convened by the Council of Europe was established to encourage a united approach to cyber safety. Discussion of central eastern Europe Militarisation of Cybersecurity concludes this review
