Social Impacts of Self-Driving Car

Abstract

Running commercial autonomous vehicles became a possibility in the last decade. Commercial utilization is continuously on a rise for the past 5 years (e.g. google project waymo self-driving car). At performance on roads and safety standards of the vehicles are perpetually increasing along with the increase in their number on the roads. Need to stay the socio-economic impacts of these vehicles has great importance in this scenario. This paper emphasizes the benefits and disadvantages of the autonomous cars in our society.
