Abstract

Power plant system are particularly valuable to the country as well to the society development breaches due to the highly require related to every person life through the use power in the various form. With the growing interest of the Internet of Thing (IoT) in power plant monitoring, optimal placement of sensor in the area of large scale is a big to save node energy thereafter enhances the lifespan of the whole monitoring network. One of the main reasons to consume the network energy drastically by activating all the participate nodes unnecessary due to lack of energy making policy. This study investigates the issues that are associated with energy consumption using maintenance protocols using the Rampal power plant data in Bangladesh. The simulation data was collected through internet and extensive simulation work has done. Gaussian based node energy distribution model was proposed. Besides, topology maintenance protocols are used to maintain the no longer optimal network further. For result analysis several performance matrices were measured to enhance the lifespan of the monitoring network in prospect of Bangladesh power plant.
