The quantitative approach was used in reviewing this research, namely through a descriptive method, through data observation with respondents of 109 lecturers at Faculty of Fine Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta and analyzed using the SWOT method. The results of the study of internal and external factors show that the implementation of strategic management has been optimized, but requires continuous administrative awareness from lecturers, especially towards accelerating promotion. The promotion of lecturers to a higher academic level from expert assistants, lectors, and head lectors to professors is a form of professional development and lecturer careers. In the dimension of the problem of functional administration of lecturers at Faculty of Fine Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, the problem of the number of lecturers with the position of lector compared to the head lector and professor is still relatively small/unequal. This comparison gap is influenced by the systematic structure of individuals, organizations, and institutions. The solution requires a strategic management method to strengthen the acceleration of lecturer promotion. This research in the future is expected to significantly have a positive impact on building perspectives related to academic awareness and internal motivation so that lecturers have integrity and long-term goals that are relevant to the proposal of credit score scores and the performance of increasing higher education accreditation.
